LIFE IN ABUNDANCE SOCIAL MEDICAL CENTRE - KPIME SEVA - TOGO

Kpime Seva is a small town in Togo, located near the Ghanaian borders, in the Highlands region. The widespread inaccessibility to drinking water and the lack of basic services has led to a high infant mortality rate. One third of the population lives below the poverty line. The Medical Centre is a vast complex that offers medical care, traditional and natural medicine as well as health care to the population of Kpime Seva and the surrounding villages. The Centre is equipped with a maternity assistance sector, with a delivery room and spaces to accompany mothers before and after the birth of their children. In Togo, the percentage of women who die from lack of antenatal care and at the time of childbirth is still very high.

MOTHER LEONIA SOCIAL HEALTH CENTRE - PRIKRO - IVORY COAST

Due to its location close to the dividing line between the north and the south, the town of Prikro has been partially isolated. To find adequate health care, you have to move to Bouaké, 200 kilometres away. The Madre Leonia health and social centre tries to respond to the immediate needs of the poorest population through a general medicine service, a laboratory, ultrasound and ophthalmology laboratory and a small pharmacy.
